Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these faculty positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification:

  • A Ph.D. in a relevant field of pharmaceutical sciences, technology, or management with a first-class or equivalent grade in the preceding degree.

  • Relevant specializations include Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Management, Biotechnology, and more.

• Experience:

  • Professor: Minimum of 10 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 4 years at the Associate Professor level or equivalent.

  • Associate Professor: Minimum of 6 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent.

  • Assistant Professor: Minimum of 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial experience.

• Age Limit:

  • Professor: Maximum 50 years

  • Associate Professor: Maximum 50 years

  • Assistant Professor: Maximum 45 years

  • Age relaxation applies as per Government of India norms for reserved categories.

• Additional Requirements: Candidates should have a strong research background, publications in reputed journals, and relevant teaching or industry experience.

Salary Structure

The selected candidates will be offered salaries as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, along with additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), medical benefits, and pension benefits as per government norms. The pay scales are as follows:

• Professor: Level 14A, ₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200

• Associate Professor: Level 13A2, ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300

• Assistant Professor: Level 12, ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400
