Bank of Baroda (BOB) has announced a recruitment drive for 4,000 Apprentice positions across India. The application window is open from February 19, 2025, to March 11, 2025. This apprenticeship offers a 12-month on-the-job training period under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Apprentice – 4000 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

  • Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 and 28 years of age as of February 1, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Stipend Details:

  • Metro/Urban Branches: ₹15,000 per month

  • Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: ₹12,000 per month

Selection Process:

  1. Online Examination: The test comprises 100 objective-type questions covering General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and General English. The duration is 60 minutes, and there is no negative marking.

  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo verification of credentials.

  3. Local Language Proficiency Test: Assessment of proficiency in the local language of the respective state.

Application Fee:

  • General/EWS/OBC: ₹800 + GST

  • SC/ST/Female Candidates: ₹600 + GST

  • PwBD Candidates: ₹400 + GST

How to Apply:

  1. Registration: Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

  2. Application Submission: After registration, apply online through the Bank of Baroda’s official website: https://www.bankofbaroda.in.
