India Post has announced the recruitment of 21,413 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for 2025. The application process began on February 10, 2025, and will conclude on March 3, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English from a recognized board.

Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 40 years old as of the application deadline.
Application Fee:

A fee of ₹100 is applicable for General and OBC category candidates.

Female candidates, SC/ST applicants, PwD applicants, and Transwomen applicants are exempted from the fee.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the 10th standard examination, calculated to four decimal places. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through SMS and email.
Emoluments:

Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 to ₹29,380 per month.

Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 to ₹24,470 per month.
