This recruitment invites online applications for 5,349 training slots in various designated trades across different Divisions and Workshops under Western Railway jurisdiction for the year 2025-26.

Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (10th): Passed under 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.
- Technical Qualification: Must possess ITI certificate in the relevant trade affiliated to NCVT (list includes Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electronics Mechanic, etc.).
Age Limit
- Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 23/03/2026.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Additional relaxation (10 years + length of military service + 3 years), subject to conditions (min. 6 months continuous service in Defence; does not apply if already in civil Govt. job post-Ex-Servicemen status).
Pay / Stipend
- Selected apprentices will undergo one-year training.
- Stipend paid as per extant Railway Board rules and directives (typically based on Apprentices Act norms for ITI trades).
