Eligible candidates can join as Assistant Professors in various disciplines in Government Colleges under the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or accredited foreign university.
- Relaxation of 5% marks (to 50%) for ST/SC candidates at Master’s and Bachelor’s levels.
- Must have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET or equivalent (SLET/SET), OR hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations (2009/2016 amendments).
- Exemptions for Ph.D. holders (pre-2009 registrations under specific conditions; top-500 global university Ph.D.s exempt NET).
- NET not required for subjects where UGC/CSIR does not conduct tests.
- Academic score calculated per UGC Appendix-II (Table 3B) for shortlisting.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: Up to 30 years (general).
- Relaxation: 5 years for ST/SC candidates (up to 35 years).
- For APST candidates: Up to 37 years (with further relaxations as applicable).
- Additional concessions for PwBD and regular Arunachal Pradesh Government servants per rules.
- As per “Assistant Professor for Government Colleges of Arunachal Pradesh” Recruitment Rules 2024.
Pay Scale / Salary
- Pay Matrix Level-10 — Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400/-
- Group-‘A’ Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) post.

- Fill the online application form with accurate details.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (photo, signature, Matriculation certificate for DOB, APST/ST/SC certificate, educational certificates, NET/Ph.D. proof, publications if applicable, PwBD certificate, PRC/Aadhaar, etc.).
- Pay the application fee online (if applicable).
- Submit the form before the deadline and take a printout for reference.
Government servants must upload intimation to their Head of Department or NOC. Submit only one application (highest RID considered if multiple).
