Age Limit (as on last date of application)

  • Range Forest Officer, Platoon Commander (Male), Assistant Superintendent (Male), Lascar (Male), Escort (Female): Not exceeding 45 years
  • Round Forester, Forest Guard: Not exceeding 35 years
  • Police Constable (Male/Female), Police Constable (Armed Police): Not exceeding 28 years
  • Police Constable Driver (Grade-III): Not exceeding 25 years
  • Constable (Greaser/Electrician), Warden (Male), Matron (Female): Not exceeding 30 years

Relaxations:

  • Government servants: Up to 5 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwD: 10 years (additional for SC/ST/OBC)
  • Ex-Servicemen, Home Guards, Ex-Agniveers, and specific service categories: As per rules (e.g., up to 5 years for certain Home Guards/Drivers)

Educational Qualification 

  • Range Forest Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with at least two subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry, or Agriculture.
  • Platoon Commander (Male)/Round Forester: Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th) or equivalent.
  • Police Constable (Male/Female/Armed Police), Police Constable Driver, Forest Guard, Warden (Male), Matron (Female), Assistant Superintendent (Male), Lascar (Male), Escort (Female): Secondary School Certificate (10th) or equivalent.
  • Constable (Greaser): 10th + ITI in Diesel Mechanic/Fitter with 2 years experience.
  • Constable (Electrician): 10th + ITI in Electrician with 2 years experience.
  • Police Constable Driver (Grade-III): 10th + Valid driving license for Heavy/Light vehicles + 2 years experience as driver.

Knowledge of Konkani is mandatory for all posts (desirable: Marathi). Physical standards (height, chest, endurance tests) apply for many posts, especially police and forest roles.
