1. Educational Qualification
- MD/MS/DNB (concerned specialty) or equivalent recognized by NMC.
- For non-medical teachers (only in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology) – M.Sc + Ph.D in the relevant subject (maximum 30% of posts in the department if medical teachers are not available).
- Super-specialty posts – DM/MCh/DNB in the respective field.
2. Experience (Table B of Notification)
One of the following:
- 1 year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in an NMC-recognized medical college, OR
- Tutor/Demonstrator experience (after PG) treated as equivalent to Senior Resident, OR
- 2 years experience as Specialist/Medical Officer in Govt hospital (>220 beds), OR
- Non-teaching govt doctors with PG + 2 years experience in >220-bed hospital (must complete Basic Course in Biomedical Research within 2 years).
3. Registration
Live registration in the concerned specialty with Chhattisgarh Medical Council / MCI / NMC.
4. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Maximum 40 years for Chhattisgarh domiciles (General).
- Maximum 35 years for candidates from other states.
