Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility requirements vary by post, but candidates generally need qualifications such as:

  • Manager (Technical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Naval Architecture全世界Architecture with a minimum of 60% marks and 9 years of relevant experience.

  • Project Superintendent (Technical): B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and 15 years of experience in shipbuilding or repair.

Selection Process

The selection process involves:

  • Shortlisting: Based on essential qualifications, experience, and minimum grade service/CTC. The shortlisting ratio is limited to six times the number of vacancies, determined by the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.

  • Interviews: Conducted either online via video conferencing or physically at HSL. For Manager (Technical) posts, candidates attending physical interviews may receive reimbursement for 2nd AC train fare (shortest route).

  • Additional Assessments: May include group discussions, preliminary screening interviews, or final selection interviews, depending on the post.

  • Verification: Original documents (degree certificates, proof of date of birth, caste/PH certificates, experience certificates) must be presented at the interview. Failure to provide these may result in disqualification.

  • Management Discretion: HSL reserves the right to adjust eligibility standards, modify selection criteria, or cancel the recruitment process without prior notice.
