Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025 – Bank of Baroda, one of India’s leading public sector banks, has announced a recruitment drive for the year 2025 to fill 2500 vacancies for the position of Local Bank Officer (LBO) across 18 states. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Local Bank Officer in Bank of Baroda. The selected candidates shall be posted in the applied State only. The process of Registration of application is complete only when fee is deposited with the Bank through On-line mode on or before the last date for fee payment. Candidates are requested to note down the acknowledgement number and a copy of application form for their future reference. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) programs. Candidates with professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical degrees are also eligible.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India. Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks, or fintech companies is not valid.

CIBIL Score: A minimum CIBIL score of 680 or above is required.

Selection Process
The selection process for Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:

Online Test: A preliminary examination with 120 questions for 120 marks, to be completed in 120 minutes. The test is divided into four sections:

English Language (30 questions, 30 marks, 30 minutes)

Banking Knowledge (30 questions, 30 marks, 30 minutes)

General/Economic Awareness (30 questions, 30 marks, 30 minutes)

Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions, 30 marks, 30 minutes)

Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for General category, 55% for Reserved Category.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT): To assess proficiency in the local language of the applied state.

Psychometric Test: To evaluate personality and behavioral traits.

Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI): For candidates who clear the above stages.

Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed as Local Bank Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMG/S-I) with a starting basic pay of Rs. 48,480/-. The pay scale is Rs 48,480-2,000(7)-62,480-2,340(2)-67,160-2,680(7)-85,920, along with allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Special Allowance, Special Pay, and Transport Allowance. The probation period is 12 months.
