Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 24 years of age as of February 28, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

Educational Qualifications:
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Three-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Three-year full-time Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation): Three-year full-time Diploma in relevant disciplines such as Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Radio Communication, Instrumentation & Control, Instrumentation & Process Control, or Electronics Engineering.
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource): Full-time Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices): Minimum 12th pass (not a graduate).
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Minimum 12th pass (not a graduate) with a Skill Certificate of “Domestic Data Entry Operator” for training of less than one year, issued by a recognized body under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.
Selection Process:
The selection process includes:

Written Test: An objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) test comprising 100 questions, each carrying one mark. The duration of the test is 120 minutes. There is no negative marking. Candidates can choose to take the test in either English or Hindi.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for document verification.

Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the document verification will undergo a medical fitness test as per IOCL’s pre-employment medical standards.
