Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India), formerly known as Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO), has announced a recruitment drive for Executive Trainee positions in the Electrical discipline through GATE 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in Electrical, Electrical (Power), Electrical and Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or Power Engineering (Electrical) from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 28 years of age as of July 31, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.
- GATE 2025: Applicants must appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper in GATE 2025 and have a valid score.
Selection Process:
- GATE 2025 Score: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their normalized marks out of 100 in the EE paper of GATE 2025.
- Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates will undergo GD and PI. The final selection will consider GATE 2025 marks (85% weightage), GD (3% weightage), and PI (12% weightage).
Application Process:
- Application Window: The online application process will commence after the declaration of GATE 2025 results. A separate notification will be issued on the Grid-India website detailing the application dates.
- Application Fee: ₹500 for General and OBC (NCL) candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from the application fee.
Compensation Package:
- Training Period: Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training period with a stipend in the pay scale of ₹50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA).
- Post-Training: Upon successful completion of training, Executive Trainees will be absorbed at the same pay scale with additional allowances and benefits as per company policies.
