ITBP Recruitment 2025 – Assistant Commandant – 48 Posts

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Assistant Commandant (Telecommunication) in 2025. A total of 48 vacancies are available for this Group ‘A’ Gazetted Combatised Post (Non-Ministerial).

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines from a recognized university or institution:

• Telecommunication Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

Physical Standards:

• Height:
  • Male: 165 cm
  • Female: 157 cm
• Chest (for male candidates): 81 cm (unexpanded) to 86 cm (expanded)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• For Male Candidates:
  • 100 Meter Race: To be completed in 18 seconds
  • 800 Meter Race: To be completed in 4 minutes
  • Long Jump: 11 feet (3 attempts)
  • Shot Put (7.26 Kgs): 14 feet
• For Female Candidates:
  • 100 Meter Race: To be completed in 20 seconds
  • 800 Meter Race: To be completed in 5 minutes
  • Long Jump: 9 feet (3 attempts)
