The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, Karnataka and Goa Region invites applications from meritorious sports persons for appointment as Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff. Before making an application, the applicants are required to go through the detailed guidelines, eligibility criteria, vacancy position, other conditions and instructions for the direct recruitment given below to ascertain their eligibility for the post.

1. Inspector of Income Tax – 08 Posts
2. Tax Assistant – 83 Posts
3. Multi Tasking Staff – 64 Posts

Educational Qualification :

  • Inspector: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Tax Asst: Bachelor’s Degree and Data Entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.
  • MTS: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023) :

  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit IIT : 30 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit for Tax Asst: 27 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit MTS: 25 Years
